C/S lowers the risk: Cystoceles develop for a lot of reasons and vaginal child birth especially with forceps place you at higher risk. Delivery of infants by cesarean delivery does not raise that risk.

Less likely.: Pregnancy is a risk factor for pelvic prolapse and incontinence. Most specifically vaginal delivery is a risk factor for these problems. Women who have a c-section versus vaginal delivery are less likely to have a cystocele or other forms of prolapse. There are a lot of pros and cons to this decision. I would recommend discussing these with your doctor to help guide your decision.
