Possibly: Human joints are not designed to withstand the pounding that fanatic runners give to them. Orthopedic surgeons are making small fortunes from the consequences of this. I have found few who will quite this until their joints give out. Swimming is a terrific, joint sparing exercise.

Jogging & knees.: Jogging is hard on the knees in general, especially on hard concrete. Grated, running for two hours is a really long time, but jogging in general requires adequate footwear to cushion the impact of your feet upon the hard ground.m you should replace your jogging sneakers every 3-4 months to ensure adequate support and cushioning.
