Help earlobe keloids: Keloids are thick, tender, raised scars that can develop in certain genetically-susceptible individuals, usually in areas of inflammation (like ear pierces, especially with non-gold earrings), acne cysts, or surgical scars. Pressure therapy is one way of trying to help reduce keloids, and there are special earrings that have a clamp-like design to help with these. Steroid injections also help.

Pressure earrings: In conjunction with steroid injections before or after surgical removal pressure earrings are thought to help prevent recurrence of keloids on the earlobe. The easiest place to get them is from padgett medical. They are like the old styl clamp on earrings grandma wore except the pressure on the clamp for pressure earrings is a bit stronger.
