A member asked:

Is there a such thing as the"unknown syndrome"?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes & No: A syndrome is a group of symptoms that together are characteristic of a specific disease or disorder. If you have a collection of different symptoms but the underlying disease has not or can not be identified, then it is "unknown". It is not a true medical entity or diagnosis.
