How does cancer develop despite a healthy lifestyle?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It's Complicated: The cause of cancer is multifactorial, including hereditary risks and exposures to toxins in the air we breathe and food/water we eat/drink. The sad reality is that people who do "everything right" still get cancer. Hopefully, we will know more in the future to know what to avoid. Until then, it's safe to say that the healthier you are, the best chance you have to be cured.
