What to do about swollen knee pain?

Some basics: Start with simple icing several times a day and after activity. Anti-inflammatory medicine for 10 days to 2 weeks and see if this is improving. Reduce your activity level or frequency to calm down the swelling. Give you knee a day or two of rest between exercise days. Most of all, get examined because their are more rare but serious things that can cause swelling and pain. Or decrease you.
