Need more info: Really need more info to help. You did not even tell us your age- it is asked for a good reason! Did you injure it? If so, might be mild sprain or torn cartilage or ligaments. If not, could be arthritis- if you are old, most likely osteoarthritis, if young could be inflammatory arthritis, could also be Lyme disease etc. If not improving soon please see a doctor!

If you have fever , rashes , feeling unwell , chest pain , shortness of breath or pain is unbearable then see doctor otherwise you can try rest , painkillers and ice .
