SEVERAL GOALS: Fasting blood sugar<110 sugar after meals less than 145 bedtime sugar less than 145 bad cholesterol less than 75 triglycerides less than 150 blood pressure less than 130/85 no smoking exercise 210 mins a week minimum(30+ mins/day) eat proportionately good, complex carbs, fats and protein, lots of veggies and several servings of low glucemic, high fiber fruits. And... Hemoglobin a1c <6.5%!
