my fiance is type 1 diabetic, and underweight. his hb1ac is high, cholesterol high. how can o help him gain weight and reduce cholesterol?

Taking care: He needs to take care of himself. If he is on a good Insulin regimen, he may gain some weight. The high glucose can certainly elevate the triglycerides (and cholesterol). He needs to work with his doctor to take care of himself.
