A member asked:

Im 31 weeks pregnant and my placenta is low. i go in for another ultrasound in 3 weeks, if it hasnt moved up, how likely is it that ill will have to have a c-section?

Very: It will depend on the details, but a placenta that is overlying the cervical opening is a very good reason for not having a vaginal birth. Consequences can be very dangerous. Good to talk to your provider about the details.
