My high risk dr. said i have a low lying placenta, that i should be on pelvic rest, no heavy lifting. i'm 24 weeks pregnant. how likely will the placenta not move to the top by the delivery date? what is max weight i can lift? ok to walk 30 min/day?

Depends: If the low lying is more than 1.5cm away - then honestly you should be fine

I believe you're: referring to placenta previa where the placenta implants around the opening of the uterus (cervix). Generally, limit on weights is whatever you can lift using arm and shoulder muscles only. (5-10# +/-. Walking is probably safe, but check with your OB. Often the placenta migrates away from the cervix during 3rd trimester. IT'S VERY IMPORTANT TO LET YOUR OB KNOW IF YOU HAVE VAGINAL BLEEDING.
