Discuss with Doc: This is a question for your pain management specialist if you are using one. If you are under the care of your primary care physician then a consult to a specialist is recommended. There are several other opioids that may be beneficial as well as other non-opioids that could work together with the Kadian (morphine) to make it more effective.

Adjust: Kadian (morphine) is a strong opiate with a good delivery system. If you are not having any side effects from the medication an are tolerating it well, with the approval of your doctor i would titrate the dosage higher.
