I have been on kadian (morphine) 60mg 1/12hrs and hydromorphon 8mg 1/3-4 hrs not to exceed 7 in a day for about 9 years. i am tolerant, and wonder about going to16mg on the hydromorphon? thoughts?

Not able: To comment . Do not know what you are being treated for and what has been tried to even reduce your meds much less go up. Less is always better so you and your docs have to have that serious conversation . An outsider can't really help especially with no info.

You are on: Very high amount of narcotic and are addicted to it. I do not recommend going any higher, the addiction is making you think you need more, there are too many accidental deaths from taking too much narcotic.
