How strong is kadian (morphine) compared with norco?

Potency: Kadian is extended release morphine dosed every 12 hours. Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) is immediate release hydrocodone. On a mg to mg basis it takes 1.5 mg of morphine to be as analgesic as 1.0 mg if hydrocodone.
