how long will it take for abilify (aripiprazole) to work?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Mark Reynolds
33 years experience Psychiatry
Depends: The time to onset of action of Abilify (aripiprazole) varies based on a number of factors including, among others, the condition being treated, how severe that condition is and how long it has been present. That being said you could begin to notice some effect within 3-7 days and continued improvement over 4-6 weeks.
