~5 half-lives: In general, we estimate that it takes 5 half-lives for something to get out of your system. Half-life is time necessary for level to drop by 50%. After 2nd half-life, only 25% remains. After 3rd, just 12.5%. After 4th, just 6.25% and after 5th, barely 3.125%. Half-life of Abilify (aripiprazole) is 75-146hrs so you're looking at 2-4wks roughly to get out of your system.

Abilify (aripiprazole) duration: Abilify (aripiprazole) lasts over 3 days in the body but its effect may last longer. This may be even longer in an old person (over 69) side effects go away first, benefits may last longer.

Dose dependent: Most drugs like abilify (aripiprazole) will lose their therapeutic effectiveness long before they completely work their way out of your system. They typically stop being effective after about 2 weeks and within 4 to 6 weeks are cleared out of your system. Higher doses of a medication may take longer than these general parameters.
