Stop adding it: Start with eliminating added salt (there is enough added into so many products). To improve palatability try adding flavorful and healthy herbs and vegetables in place of salt. Also avoid foods that are high in salts to begin with such as salty chips, crackers, etc. Read lables to be more aware. Use fresh ingredients to have greater control. The more you refrain the more your palate will adjust.
