How can i help my 13 month old get sleep with congestion?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Humidity & your lap: A toddler with congestion will struggle to breath through their nose even though it is plugged with mucous. Do a steam treatment in the shower/bathroom or run a cool mist humidifier next to the bed. Encourage lots of fluids - all these things will keep the mucous thin. Also, they'll sleep better elevated, which is why they like to sit up in your lap and sleep on the recliner with you!
