Seek: If you already haven't, you should see an orthopedic surgeon. Depending on the location of the tibial fracture, it may or may not need surgical repair. As a diabetic, you are more prone to osteopenic-type fractures (due to bone loss) and delayed healing times. As long as your diabetes is under control, normal healing times prevail.
