Zantac (ranitidine) and GERD: Hi yes, if it works. But, please do not continue using this drug if your symptoms persist or worsen. The goal is to be wise about diet and exercise and weight and the types of calories you consume so that you do not have gerd at your young age that persists month after month. Cigarrettes, chocolate, red wine and caffeine can all make gerd worse.
