How do gastroenterologists decide which bowel prep to use? do you get a choice or is it somehing that they get to decide and you don't get any choice?

ASK THEM: How chosen? Effectiveness and simplicity mainly, with a little personal choice based on what has seemed to work for a given doctor. Choice? Depends on the doctor, but never hurts to ask. Me the colon cancer patient will never drink supraprep again, not even if swapped for a date with a hollywood starlet. I prefer the 'lytely' products. Ask your doctor what options they can offer.
