The "prep" for a colonoscopy involves multiple doses of medication to " clear the lower intestinal tract, and "three days" is not unusual before food consumed after the colonoscopy is digested and reaches the lower colon. If no other symptoms are present (bloating, abdominal pain ) this is not unexpected, and going to your GI physician is not necessary.
