I had ultrasound done and it said a prominent column of berlin versus a duplicated collecting system is seen in the right kidney. what does that mean?

Column of Bertin: Renal column (of bertin) is extension of renal cortex between the renal pyramids [see diagram]. It allows the cortex to be better anchored. It consists of blood vessels, urinary tubes & fibrous material.
