I am 88. have never done exercise and yestetday did 10 repititions of 6 different exercises with p.t. and now have bad pain. was this too much exercise?

It sounds like it..: Being 88, you have done a dawn good job already! 10 reps of 6 different exercises to start is quite a bit for an 88 years-young person and feeling achy/sore the next day is certainly expected. I would take it easy for 2-3 days, then go back but do less and add some stretching exercises. The pain should ease and u can increase reps slowly with time. Great job! good luck.
