Thyroid replacement : If T3 (liothyronine) & T4 are low and TSH is high; then you have hypothyroidism. Thyroid replacement therapy will be needed for the rest of your life. Normal T3 (liothyronine) & T4 levels support normal weight. Synthroid is long acting t4 cytomel is short acting t3 dessicated thyroid is a natural blend of both. This is the least expensive treatment.
