A member asked:

Is it possible to monitor your internal body temperature by monitoring your pulse/heart rate?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

In short, no: Your body generally does an excellent job of regulating your core temperature, so it's not something you need to be concerned about. Heart rate is also highly regulated but varies much more widely for many reasons (like when we're startled) so it's not a reliable indicator of core temperature.
