A member asked:

How accurate is a bloodpresure monitor if used to measure my pulse rate while i have an attack of atrial fibrillation?does it miss any heart beats?

Depends: Some monitors may miscount if you have a very fast irregular pulse but it'll probably be accurate. There are a number of other apps you could use to correlate, or do it the old fashion way: feel your pulse in your neck (or wrist) for thirty seconds and multiply by 2.
