Is it okay to chew trident gum after brushing your teeth?

Chewing Gum: The Fluoride in the toothpaste might loose its effect. I would wait. Occasionally would not be a problem. Gum with xylitol may have some positive properties for neutralizing acid in the mouth when you just can't get to a toothbrush.

Absolutely: Chewing gum is even great if youcan't brush your teeth. It promotes salivation which is a major part of the bodies defense mechanism against cavities.

Sure : Why not chew gum if you wish. Gum chewing also is like a habit fr some. The only time i would not advise the immediate gum chewing is if you are using a special or heavily fluoridate toothpaste. You want that to sit in your mouth undisturbed as long as possible.
