Bruised nerve: You have not mentioned the duration of the symptoms or when the injury occured. Injury to the nerve at the wrist can cause tingling and numbness in the hand. Use a wrist splint to rest the wrist. If it has been more than a week after injury then i suggest you see a neurologist. You may need corticosteroids to reduce swelling around the nerve.
