A member asked:

Pinched shoulder nerve (last 3mo) with moderate numbness/tingling in my hand but with care it feels better now. is it healing itself, can it heal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Should improve: Nerves can, and usually do, heal themselves. It depends on the nature and cause of the damage in the first place. If it feels better, you can almost certainly assume that the nerve is healing itself. Serial evaluations by your health care provider are important, to make sure that no permanent damage is occurring, or has occurred.
