A member asked:

When a person gets treatment for hepatits c, does their liver tests go back to normal?

Sometime it does..: Undergoing treatment for hepatitis c is not easy, but treatment success is getting better with newer, more efficacious medications. If the disease is mild and treatment started early, many can achieve sustained virologic response and keep the disease suppressed/thus normalizing the liver function. So yes, it does happen. If you have it, consult doc for eval/treatment. Don't drink. Good luck.

Yes!: Yes they can but not if someone has advanced liver disease to begin with such as cirrhosis or very advanced fibrosis.
