Depression, Anxiety : Doxepin is an old antidepressant that is infrequently used for depression because it can be very sedating. It can also be used for anxiety or sleep. Additionally, it is one of the strongest antihistamines on the planet and can be used for severe allergies (though this is infrequent as there are other meds that work well and have fewer side effects).
