is it a bad idea to take minocin (minocycline) tablets and alcohol?

Together?: Not a good idea to wash down Minocycline with ethanol (and certainly not with methanol), but all other restrictions aside it should not interfere with the antibiotic effect of minocycline, and Minocycline will not diminish the intoxication potential of ethanol.
