A member asked:

How do i keep from having high bloodpressure when i am taking blood pressure medication?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Factors: Within reason you should watch your salt and alcohol intake. Watch the quantity and quality of the food you eat so you can maintain a healthy weight. Reasonable exercise. Then work with your provider to adjust and/or add medicines to control your pressure. Most people need more than one medicine, sometimes 3 or 4 depending on the person.
