Absolutely not!: The point and purpose of high blood pressure medication is to proactively keep your blood pressure low. It is not intended treating you high blood pressure sporadically. In fact, doing so can be dangerous and abruptly stopping can cause a dangerous rise in blood pressure. He needs to take it daily, as prescribed by his doc. (the first signs of untreated high pressure can be heart attack or stroke.
