Infection: Hallucinations can occur with high fevers. The most likely cause of a fever itself is an infection. Be sure to keep your daughter's temperature below 101.5 degrees f with children's tylenol (acetaminophen). If your daughter's fever continues to run above that, and cannot be brought down by the tylenol (acetaminophen), it's time to visit the E.R.
