Viral enteritis: probably a small stomach virus. There are many viruses that circulate in the summer. As long as the symptoms are improving, continue with fever reducer, increase electrolyte drinks and avoid milk and milk products for a few days.

Likely virus: Fever with subsequent diarrhea is suggestive of enterovirus infection. As long as your daughter is not vomiting and is able to maintain hydration, then no therapy is indicated
