What's my real maximum heart rate? i have noticed while exercising that in can get over 220 (my registered max is 224). does it have any implications?

Optimum heart rate: The maximum heart rate is calculated based on your age: 220 - age so if you are 26 then your max is 194 -- but we recommend the optimum heart rate for exercise that is 85-90 percent of max for cardio fitness -- so for you is around 170 and maintain it for 20-30 minutes.
