No: Current cdc guidelines list Doxycycline twice a day for seven days as an acceptable treatment regimen for chlamydia, usually used in conjunction with treatment for gonorrhea. Treatments for gonorrhea may include oral cefixime, injection of ceftriaxone, and oral azithromycin.
