Returning home from abroad with fever and sore throat. how to reduce the risk of infecting family members?

Hand hygiene. : I'm sorry you got sick! best thing to do to keep your family members healthy is wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water if you're having to do food preparation. Use the alcohol based gels, avoid touching your mouth, nose or eyes, and no sharing of utensils or cups. And each of your family members should be doing the same.

Fever and Loved ones: I appreciate that you are concerned about this. We do know that the longer one is ill with these upper respiratory symptoms the less contagious one is. But, with a fever i would recommend good hygiene, good hand washing, covering your mouth if and when you cough and not kissing any one yet. Once the fever has subsided you are most likely not contagious.
