Hard to say...: Without more information, it's really difficult to say for certain. Usually things like shingles or herpes have fluid filled bumps. Mild eczema doesn't have to be itchy, it can just tingle or feel irritated. If you're not having fever, it's not painful, and you're feeling well otherwise, its okay to wait a few days before seeing the doctor, but you should get it checked if it doesn't go away.

Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
