EKG/event monitor: Sick sinus requires a good, thorough history, physical exam, and cardiac electrical and functional diagnostic studies.

Tests and Monitors: One of two ways: either you flunk a treadmill or other exercise test by one of several criteria relating to heart rate rise and fall, or you complained of things that made me suspicious and i prescribed something called a holter or event monitor which showed your heart acting up. Sometimes we find it incidentally while people are on monitors in the hospital, too.
