All should avoid: Everyone, including diabetics should avoid white rice. White rice is natural rice that has been stripped of its three outer layers which contain all of its nutrients. As a result, the us government requires that certain nutrients be added back but they are minimal. It is a wasted source of calories that offers no health benefits.
