What's the difference between prosthetic teeth and veneers?

Denture/Veneers: Prosthetic teeth would be a denture, snap-on-smile, partial, temporary flipper, implant or a bridge. In the case of veneers, they area a very thin layer of porcelain, custom created to fit your tooth exactly, which is applied to your tooth. Veneers do not replace a tooth with a prosthetic or artificial tooth.

Completely different: A prosthetic tooth is intended to replace a tooth that has been removed. Prosthetic teeth may be implemented by fixed bridgework, a removable denture, or an implant-supported device. In contrast, a veneer is a thin shell, usually composed of ceramic, that is bonded to the front of a natural tooth to improve its form or cosmetic appearance.

A big one: Prosthetic teeth replace the whole tooth , where as in veneers your tooth is still there but its covered.

Let's see....: Prosthetic teeth may refer to denture teeth found on partial or full dentures. They are made of porcelain or a strong plastic. Prosthetic teeth may also refer to full crowns placed over natural teeth or dental implants. Veneers are placed over a portion of a natural tooth so they are more conservative. Which is best is determined by the specific situation. I am in north dallas btw....
