No Bestway: I would recommend a firm mattress. I've also had good results with contoured pillows that support your neck. You need to experiment and see what works best for you.

Avoid stomach : Usually sleeping on one's stomach will aggravate neck and/or back pain. Lying on your side with a small pillow under your head and with your hips and knees drawn up into your body is the best position. Some people will use a pillow between their knees. If on your back, a pillow under your knees can also help. Also check the status of your mattress.
