Salt and Sugars: Hi this would be a first for me. I have never heard this question in any form before. Diet, calories, and exercise or the lack of exercise affects one blood sugar. Diets high in salt often are high in fat and sugars. This then would affect your blood sugar. But, one thinks of salt more with fluid retention and possibly high blood pressure.
