Possibly: The decision to continue therapy after you feel like your depression is cured should be individualized by each patient and their therapist. Many times you can stop therapy, but there may be circumstances in which you may want to continue therapy. You may look at continuing therapy based on certain needs as prevention against depression returning.

Through use of antidepressant medications, it's possible to feel much better while still not understanding certain things we may be doing unconsciously that result in pain and suffering. If you're interested in discovering these things & making appropriate changes, therapy helps.
