Is it possible for nasal steroids to help with allergies?

Nose symptoms relief: Allergic inflammation in the nasal mucosa produces swelling, congestion and increased secretions. Nasal topical steroids help with reducing the inflammatory process and therefore reducing these symptoms. Nasal steroids would not directly affect the allergy, that is the hypersensitivity to react when exposed to a particular allergen, such as pollen.
