Is bulimia or anorexia more dangerous?

Both can be fatal: Anorexia is harder to miss, because of the severe weight loss; the effective starvation impairs functions of a lot of body organs. Many with bulimia look fine weight-wise but are abusing their bodies with purging and vomiting, both of which can cause body chemistry problems, sometimes bad enough to be fatal; vomiting can destroy teeth and cause other stomach problems.

Both are significant problems. Please have a complete physical exam to know if you have a physical illness. Then see a clinical psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy for help coping and a Psychiatrist for medication. A support group can be helpful.
