See your dentist: If you have pain caused by a partial denture you probably need an adjustment. I would make an appointment at your dentist to have this done.

Usually very easy: Correct by getting back to the dentist that made them, very common to need an very quick easy adjustment which usually corrects the problem.

Adjustment or ...: If they were recently made, your dentist can probably make some quick and easy adjustments to make them comfortable. If they we made years ago, they may or may not be able to be adjusted or relined in order to make them fit well and be comfortable again. Finally, the pain may or may not be related to the partials. Bring them with you to a dentist for a complete and thorough evaluation.

See your dentist...: I would not expect pain. It may need an adjustment. Please see your dentist. If there is pressure on the teeth then the teeth in question need to have the nightguard relieved. If the partial denture fits tightly it may be too tight and require adjustment.

Have it adjusted: Have your dentist adjust it as soon as possible. If there are gum sores (denture sore spots) sometimes your dentist might also recommend some application on the gums to ease the pain.

Dental Partial Pain: Ill fitting partials can be very painful when chewing. Adjustments are quick and easy to do. But if they are older than 8yrs the plastic saddles and teeth may need to be remade at a dental lab for proper function. If the metal clasps are broken a new one should be fabricated.

Consult with: Your dentist to determine the cause if the pain. Sometimes it's a simple adjustment. Other times if the dentist is old, a new denture is recommended. Why not consider dental implants of possible and say bye bye to the pain and headaches of dentures. Sure they are a more expensive option - but aren't you worth it? It is by far the best tooth replacement option available. Hope this helps.
